Enterprise Outdoor Long-Range Wireless-N Access Point
 
The Enterprise-class ENH210EXT is a highpowered, long-range 2.4GHz Wireless-N Outdoor Access Point delivering data at up to 300Mbps. The ENH201EXT provides outdoor wireless network access for campus environments or for connecting other buildings to a company network. It’s ideal for small-to-medium sized companies that wish to provide outdoor access to the company network to their employees or to provide network and/or Internet connectivity via a company’s existing broadband connection. It’s an ideal solution for expanded the reach of an existing network beyond the walls of a building.

Its high 800mW transmit power and high receive sensitivity make it a robust solution for extending company networks. The ENH210EXT has been engineered to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and has an IP rating of 67 and a UV coating to resist prolonged exposure to the sun. The AP also includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one for connecting back to the LAN network and the other for a connected device like a surveillance camera.

The ENH210EXT includes EnGenius Zone Controller Access Point Management software that provides a robust suite of tools for IT managers, installers and network administrators who deploy, manage and maintain wireless networks. With Zone Controller, EnGenius Wireless Indoor and Outdoor Access Points and Client Bridges can be configured, controlled and monitored from one central location.

Compatible with EnGenius’ comprehensive family of versatile, long-range Indoor and Outdoor Wireless Access Points, Client Bridges, AP routers, Zone Controller is SNMP (v1 and v2) compliant and provides IT administrators with real-time information to ease the deployment, configuration and management of EnGenius wireless networking solutions in complex networking environments.

Unlike ordinary outdoor APs, the ENH210EXT can be used in a number of configurations and support connectivity to and from other outdoor client bridges (ENH210) in multiple-building campus deployments. The ENH210EXT also can provide wireless connectivity to 3 times as many roaming clients within its range of operation.

Overview
 
The Altitude 4511 wallplate access point has been designed specifically to address these challenges with the following unique set of features:
  • Fast, snap-on installation using existing CAT 5/6 cabling and universal mounting bracket
  • Snap-in keystone ports for service scale – providing connections for additional wired services such as VoIP phones and coaxial cable
  • SMART RF dynamic channel and radio power adjustment which provides excellent radio performance
  • Intelligent controller AP code that provides scalable centralized management of up to 25 Altitude 4511 access points without the need of a costly wireless controller
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) custom-designed radio which provides 26 dBm EIRP performance with integrated antennas
Modular Design for Easy Installation and Expansion
 
The Altitude 4511 access point utilizes existing CAT 5/6 cabling in the walls, making installation faster and easier. Using the universal mounting brackets, installation can be performed on any wall surface or a structured wiring telecom box in minutes. Also included with the Altitude 4511 AP is an optional second RJ-45 Ethernet port utilizing a pass-through (keystone) cable. You can also add a three-port Ethernet module (sold separately) to the front of the device. The keystone port can also be used to extend a full-power, Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE) port or any other standard keystone-compatible optional cabling including TV-coax, RJ-11, fiber, or Leviton QuickPort modular connectors. These features allow hotels, for example, to provide multiple services such as voice, IPTV and wired LAN access using a single access point. Because the installation process is simple and repeatable across multiple properties and does not require expert training, IT managers can expect to lower their deployment costs.
 
Compact and easy-to-use, the Altitude 4511 is just slightly larger than an iPhone®. It snaps into place in just minutes and reuses existing CAT 5 cabling already in the walls. Your Wi-Fi installations are less expensive, more predictable, and faster, allowing entire facilities to be up and running within hours, not days.
